This finding suggests that one of the keys to reducing high employee turnover within call centers is to give employees more recognition and praise for the hard work they perform. "In an industry that is known for its high employee turnover, it is interesting to note that simple things like recognizing employees for a job well done can be such a powerful motivational tool", said Bob Gills, CEO of CallCenterCareers.com. "This points back to the notion that people like to work for companies that make them feel good about themselves and that feeling good about yourself and your job is as important as money." The survey also found that call center job seekers would be more satisfied with their current job if there were more in-house opportunities for promotion (19%) and a better work environment (12%). Only 6% of call center job seekers voted for more training. About Call Center Careers
