Many Call Center Jobs are with companies that allow the employee to work at home.  These home based jobs (also called "virtual jobs") can be with small or lage companies.  Some require tenure and a good performance track record prior to allowing the employee to work at home, others not.

Some of these home based jobs are 100% work-at-home, others may involve travel - so be sure to read the job description carefully.  For instance, a company may need a sales executive who sells call center services.  This person may work out of their home office, but could spend 25% to 75% of their time traveling to client locations.
